This summer has proven to be a mixture of heat with rain. It is a good idea to stay hydrated. One goal would be to consume at least a gallon of water everyday. Along with welding safety, being hydrated will keep your focus sharp. Being dehydrated on the other hand, can lead to dizziness, fatigue and a host of other problems, including kidney stones. Welders might not talk about it much, but being dehydrated is more common than you might think. I prefer to mix mine with lemon to help me drink more.
